Jenn Rogar at Goddess Spirit Rising: International Goddess Conference

Thursday Sept 7 and Saturday Sept 9 American Jewish University 1101 Peppertree Lane, Simi Valley, Ca Jenn Rogar is a teacher, law graduate and longtime activist folk Singer/Songwriter in the tradition of Joan Baez, Bob Dylan and Pete Seeger. Jenn has performed at rallies, marches and events at the California State Capitol, in Mount Shasta, San Francisco, Berkeley, the Navajo Reservation and many other places on issues such as the Sacredness of Water, Anti-War, Police Brutality, Homelessness, Indigenous rights, Anti-death penalty and GMO’s. In all of these rallies over the last 16 years Jenn has discovered the interconnectedness of these issues that affect us all and how it relates to the degradation of the Mother Earth. The principles of Permaculture can be our source for a cosmic reevaluation, revival and revolution in values that will support our sustainability and the sustainability of the Mother Earth and all Her creatures. Through music, Jenn is committed to being a part of that change and through her songs and storytelling can explain her transformation from being “against something” to being for something”…in short turning negative into positive energy. Jenn hopes to enourage others to use their musical and otherwise artistic gifts as a tool for positive change for our survival and the survival of the earth. Jenn performs Thursday night and gives a workshop on Saturday about music, activism and permaculture. Specific times tba. Go to the website for more details http://goddessspiritrising.com
