Open Mics are a great place to meet friends, network and try out new songs--
 Monday------Fox and Goose Pub 10th and R Street, Sacramento---hosted by Dave Baldwin
Great beers and food! Nice ambiance and mostly acoustic guitar singer/songwriters
also at the Blue Lamp with host Chris (Alhambra and J Street)--full bar and free barbecue food!!
Wednesdays--------Pangea Cafe Wednesday night open mic (7-10 pm) with Aria. Peaceful and healing vibe by artists and audience. Great coffees, teas, sandwiches and cookies etc.! Conscious hip-hop, pop, rock, folk, poetry and spoken word.
                       ----------also Old Ironsides with Larry-- full bar and a lot of rockers, but also acoustic guitarists--great crowd--$2 beers!
Thursday--------Coffee Garden (Franklin Blvd.) hosted by Devin. Great outdoor venue and good food and coffees/teas -very eclectic atmosphere!
Saturday--------Butch and Nellies coffee house 18th and I Street hosted by Sho'Nuff and Jennilynn --great vibe and crowd and gelato!
Most open mics have sign-ups around 7 pm--come perform or come support--performers can't perform without you the audience
Pangea Cafe is located on Franklin Blvd. off Broadway and is across from Gunther's Ice Cream (yum!)
Butch and Nellies is located on I Street and 18th. Fabulous Gelato!
